Three friends. Two bottles of red.
One expensive and sumptuous, one less expensive and far from sumptuous.
One topic of conversation – why does great wine have to cost so much?
One more bottle of red.
One crazy idea – let’s create our own range of outstanding, affordable wine.
One vision – no compromises ever.
Two exciting acquisitions made.
The iconic Thames Street Winery with 9 million litres of winemaking capacity.
Half share in Te Awanga Estate.
4 outstanding Hawke’s Bay Vineyards.
The brilliance of one of the world’s premier winemakers at the helm – Rod McDonald.
One commitment.
Use our winery, expertise and selection of outstanding vines to present the best of what Hawke’s Bay has to offer to the world in each of its exciting varietals.
One maxim – don’t be constrained by tradition…keep thinking differently.
One brand…where every single variety is stunningly exceptional.
